Making the Most of My Spring w/ essence
Every few months, I (just as you should) get rid of my old makeup products. Now I know that you may not want to get rid of your favorite mascara, but when it goes bad, it needs to go into the can! Reinventing beauty routines can be a hassle, and an expensive one, but I’ve found my saving grace with essence makeup!
I’ve talked about essence before, so this brand should not be new to everyone! I’m in love with everything about the lines, but in particular, how quality their lines are at the price point that you may find them. In order to get the most out of your makeup, you shouldn’t have to spend hundreds of dollars in Sephora. The great thing about essence is that you can find everything from blusher, eyebrow powder, and color correctors in a wide range of colors, but at a price that doesn’t break the budget.Â
I love using essence to revamp my spring makeup collection! From their new line, Watch Me Sparkle, I have so many favorites, but I’m going to narrow it down to my top 4 that I can’t live without on a daily basis! These specific pieces are perfect for an everyday look and who knows, I may do a video all about how great this line is on my Youtube channel in just a few days!
The first piece that I love out of everything is the Make Me Brow Duo Powder. Wearing makeup is a choice, specifically MY choice. I don’t always wear makeup, but occasionally, I’ll just do my brows! I’ve never really been one to fill in my brows, but this powder is an amazing way to do so because it comes in 2 different shades and doesn’t make my brows too heavy! In a brow powder, I’mt just looking for a power to accentuate the shape of my brows, not to create a brand new brow and this powder is life. Honest.
Next Up is the Matt Matt Lipstick in Kiss Me if You Can. Now we all know the power of a red lipstick. Red lips can be sexy, fun, and just make everything pop. They also can add that last bit of sparkle for your look and really pull everything together! Red lips are amazing and I love how moisturizing these lipsticks truly are for my lips. I’m always having lots of problems and issues with my lips. So having something to always moisturize my lips is a great addition to my bag. The color is amazing and it just makes me feel confident when I wear it!
Third is the Contouring Eye Pencil! Now I didn’t know what eye contouring was. Hey, when I got my hands on this pencil, I fell in love. I’ve heard about contouring for a while now, but never really eye contouring, but this was great! When I’m going in on my face, this pencil is a great way to shape my eyes and make them really pop!
Last but not least, the Lash & Brow Gel Mascara! Okay, I’ve been looking for a brow gel since I ran out of the essence Brow Gel I use. This gel is perfect because it’s clear, but also does an amazing job tailoring my brows and lengthening my lashes! I whip this out when I want to give my lashes a bit of a fluff. Sometimes, I don’t want to wear makeup and I want to be a little more comfortable in my own skin! Confidence is key, and trust me, when my brows and lashes look great, I feel amazing!
Making a new skin and makeup routine is a major part of what makes me happy. I want to know what makes you happy! I love Essence products! I think they are highly underrates. I love that they are affordable and they’re actually great quality makeup!
