Dainty Lace Details

Festival season….after Coachella has finished, it is easy to say that I’m inspired. Channelling my festival inspo in the heat of Atlanta lets me keep cool, but also look like I’m trying to look really good. Festivals are known for their huge hats. When I bought this one from Nasty Gal, I’ve been dying to wear it with something like this!! Lace details are one of my favourite trends from festival season and now I’m pairing them for you all!

All of the other items of this outfit don’t take away from the main item, the dress. Free People blew me out of the park with this one, and I love everything from the colour to the lace!

If you remember one of my goals from my new year’s blog resolutions post, you’ll remember that I said that I wanted to wear more colour! I’ve been dying to pull my summer clothes out of the trunk under my bed for a while now. When I did, I felt like a little kid in a candy shop. I got this dress for Christmas, but it’s perfect for the summer.

The length doesn’t make it too hot and heavy while I wear it. The lace details are just as cool as it is beautiful. It flares right at my waist which a really good benefit and helps the dress keep the wow factor going. Lace details are fun to play with while spinning and the flare of the maxi lets me do just that! These boots are probably the one pair of boots that I’ve worn more than anything in the last few weeks and they’re perfect for every event, including with this event. Pretty positive I wore these WAY BACK WHEN I had my old Youtube channel and did a Festival Lookbook and they’ve held up since then! They’re simple enough not to take away from the rest of the look.
