The Maxi Button-Down Shirtdress

So a major thing that’s been on trend right now are button-down items. You’ve probably seen it on skirts, but now I’m bringing it in on a dress. A shirtdress is hard to come by, but a good vintage shirtdress is even harder! I am excited to share this Maxi Button-Down Shirtdress because isn’t it cute?! I found this gem tucked away in my mother’s closet. Shame that it hasn’t been worn in ages huh? Now I decided it’s time to take it out and give it some love. The navy is a beautiful color on me and I’m excited to share!

Everything right now has buttons down its front, so I wanted to put my spin on it. I absolutely adore this dress and have been dying to do something with it for ages now. I wish I had my favorite black belt that I could’ve worn with it, but sadly it broke the day before. This shirt dress is a great piece to have in my spring/summer transition and even as I transition back to fall after summer. The color is rich and for being an old dress, it’s held up quite well! Gotta love quality vintage! x
