Wow its been forever since I’ve posted!! That’s going to be my opening for a while now (hopefully not…) but I’m back and I bring fashion back to my style blog! I recently got 2 pairs of shoes. Since I haven’t posted anything about style in forever, so I thought I’d do my first Shoe Sunday! I want to start with the ones I got first: The Topshop Arabel boots!
The most recent pair that I received were a pair of Topshop Arabel boots. Literally the last ones…anywhere. I bought them off of the Nordstrom’s website after failing to get to the Topshop store in New York, and I’m
a) amazed I got them
b) in love with them, to the point where I haven’t taken them off for 3 days
c) glad I waited.
The shoes weren’t on sale in New York as I later found out, but when I got home, I saw that there was one pair available in my size online, so I paid for them ASAP, especially since they were $60 cheaper than normal. The shoes are amazing and I can’t rave about them enough. The buckle adds a nice accent to the simple black leather, and the leather is stiff enough that the shoes hold their shape, but not to the point that I can’t walk in them. The heel is low and comfortable, and they are great walking shoes after they’re broken in. The only problem I have with them is the back strap, it digs in sometimes when walking, but a little pad on the back can fix that.

While I was in New York over the Christmas break, I went to 2 Zara’s around the city searching for these shoes in my size, and I do not regret dragging my family around New York for a pair of shoes in the slightest! These shoes are a dream to walk in, even for long periods of time. They’re high enough that they elongate my legs. At the same time, they are not too high where its like walking in a pair of stilettos. None of the straps dig in, and the contrasting sole makes them a great pair of statement shoes.
