My Parka and Other Cozy Bits

Okay so about 2 weeks ago, I kept talking about how hot and humid it was in Atlanta, how I could wear shorts and be fine, and all that jazz….but now the tables have turned. Winter is Coming….or has come rather, and I don’t think I was ready for it!! But now, I’m busy implementing my winter wardrobe, so I hope you’re ready for cold weather outfits! I’ve got a bunch planned so I’m gonna start off with one of my newer favourites, my PARKA.  

I bought this amazing Topshop parka a few months ago during the summer actually because I knew that I needed something warm like this to keep me comfy when winter hit!! Winter has been getting incredibly cold as each year passes in Atlanta, so I knew parkas may be a good investment, and this one surely was!! It’s got a shearling lining on the inside which makes it SUPER soft and warm!! I’ve worn this a bunch lately and I still can’t believe how nice it is!! The fur hood adds a great touch and if you follow my Insta, you’ll see this pop up a bunch soon!!

I kept the rest of the outfit simple. Since I wanted to keep as much attention on the parka as possible. A black crop, high-waisted jeans, and over-the-knee boots pairing was perfect for this day. I was actually quite warm, despite the middle showing. The look is something I can use on a day-to-day basis for shopping or just a day out with friends. I can also wear a pair of boots with heels. Then, the parka is perfect on a night out, keeping me warm!! Here’s to my winter staple outfit!!
