2017. 2016 has been….tough and horrible to everyone to say the least! I’m still surprised that it managed to kick people when we were down, but it did. At the same time, there were a lot of good things. This welcome to 2017 will take you through what’s upcoming on the blog, small updates, & more! People I know and don’t know got married, people had children, and people got engaged, plus so many other things. 
In my personal life, I’ve had a lot of good things happen to me. Looking back at my Welcome to 2016 post, a lot of what I wanted to happen did happen! I’m amazed at how much I was able to accomplish during the last 366 or so days, but I’m also proud of myself. With blogging, you have to be proud of yourself and say it vocally every so often or you will lose a lot of your motivation. I lost myself periodically during the last few months due to some things in my personal life and you know what, I’m not sorry about it at all. Sometimes in life, you need to take a break and take care of yourself and I’m going to apologize for doing so.
I’ve done a lot more with video than I imagined I would and managed to double my subscription count in a year, which is beyond me how I did so. I’m looking forward to the next year and using my weekly vlogs to create more and better content for you all to watch. The world is a very visual place, so I want to make the most of it and show you all what I can truly do. I did a lot of traveling over the year and guys…I was TIRED. Not complaining about it in the slightest because I met some amazing people, shot some great photos, and managed to create the beginnings of a network for myself.
I visited Anguilla, Spain, England, The Netherlands, France, NYC (barely, but it counts), Washington DC, and so many other places. This year, the list is just as long if not longer! I’m excited to show you all and take you with me, so stay tuned! I’m still in college, but my grades are better than ever before, so that’s a major plus! In my Welcome to 2016 post, I spoke about a wellness series. It turns out that My Little Fit Life exceeded what I thought I was going to do for the year. In short, I hit all of my goals/resolutions that I had planned and did a few more, which is more than exciting.
Now 2017 is going to be….interesting to say the least.
I’ve got a lot of things planned, some of which are slightly controversial, but I’m going and doing it anyway. Travel is going to not just be international, but also more domestic. Trust me, I do see what you all want! I look at my analytics all the time, so I do notice what the people want! I’m going to be doing a lot more to showcase things that I truly love and expanding my photography and editing style in the process.
I have picked up a new lens and editing software in the last few weeks. So here’s to learning how they actually work and sharing this all with you all as well. Some of my new Youtube videos will be showcasing how I edit my photos as well as other tutorials. I’m excited to share these things with you all in the hopes that you all will enjoy them!
My mission for 2017 is growth. Growing in my personal life, growing my blog, and growing on my social channels. I’ve managed to grow over the last year and I want to keep that going! I’m really hoping that I can grow with you all and create a network and lifestyle that I’m proud of. Plus, one that you all enjoy just as much as I enjoy creating. Thanks for starting off this new year with me and let’s grow together!

That’s awesome that you achieved so many of your goals from the past year! I always find it difficult to achieve goals when I have too many of them. I try to set only a couple so that it’s easier to actually attain. 2016 definitely had it’s highs and lows, and I’m hoping 2017 will be good. I hope you are having a great year so far!

Taking care of oneself is so important and should be first and foremost at all times. I still find it hard to take a longer periods of time for myself but I’m getting better at it with time 🙂 Here’s to 2017, which will be interesting for sure!
